He first rose to prominence in Australia playing Kim Hyde in the Australian television series Home and Away (2004â2007) before beginning a film career in Hollywood. Beginning with Thor in 2011, he portrayed the title character in three sequels Thor: The Dark World in 2013, Thor: Ragnarok in 2017 and the upcoming movie Thor: Love and Thunder which scheduled to be premier in 2022. He also plays the iconic superhero in other MCU movies; such as The Avengers (2012), Avengers: Age of Ultron (2015), Avengers: Infinity War (2018) and Avengers: Endgame (2019).
